As the Development Manager, Primus Building Solutions assisted the Parish in planning, designing, and permitting the campus expansion that included a 7,746 square foot multi-purpose building, gathering plaza, and outdoor basketball courts. Primus managed the entitlement process, representing the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the Parish in meetings with governmental authorities, and coordinating the jurisdictional requirements with the project architect. Primus was also responsible for establishing the overall budget (including hard and soft costs), and the master schedule. In the construction phase, Primus managed the competitive bid process; monitored contractor progress; served as the liaison between the Parish and Archdiocese of the Los Angeles by providing monthly project updates as to the status of the project; reviewed, negotiated and recommended change orders; and initiated appropriate steps to assure that project objectives and schedules were met and completed within budget.
