The Beacon Apartments is an affordable senior and veteran housing complex located in Long Beach, CA. The apartment complex features 3 buildings, 160 units. The Beacon Apartments will include 121 one- and two-bedroom rental units that would serve extremely-low- to low-income seniors over the age of 62 years; and a 39-unit supportive housing building serving extremely low-income veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Plans include a community room with a full kitchen, supportive services room, media room, bike storage area, laundry rooms, computer rooms, an on-site gym and approximately 7,000 square feet of retail space envisioned for eateries, cafes, and public service offices.
